Low fps on windows 10 pro

Hello,

I recently started playing killing floor 2 with friends, it's an awesome game however the fps on my computer very very low, it's kinda strange because my computer meets all the requirements and I have set the graphics to low and it still lags alot, my fps is approximately around 15.

Below I'll state the specs of my w10 laptop:
8gb RAM.
Processor i5-4310
Memory SSD 120GB
Clock speed 2.5ghz

Only thing you didnt specify is what gpu you have.

If you're using integrated graphics, then the game just doesn't support it, hence low fps.

If you are running on integrated graphics, it's not the end of the world if you don't mind doing some digging online.

There are custom ini files available to overwrite your default ones to help gain some FPS.

Before building my last PC I was getting 45 fps using these on a HP tower I had bought at wal-mart lol.

It is true that your video card/GPU will be very important to performance of KF2. Also your processor, while being reasonably powerful, is a dual core. A better situation is at least 3 cores to run the main game thread, the graphics handling thread and the audio thread. If you have integrated graphics, like Intel, and a dedicated graphics card, like an AMD or Nvidia, make sure the game is using that device.
