Working to Resolve Reported Inventory Issues

To our console players, we are aware of the continued dosh vault crate grant, which also seems to be related to players having inventory population issues as well as crafting and grant difficulties (which is also affecting our Steam players). The team is assessing all options to rectify the situation and we hope to have solutions in place soon. Thank you for your patience, feedback, and support.

Console Fans,

Since the release of the Cyber Revolt content for Killing Floor 2, players have experienced an issue which was resulting in their accounts being granted unearned dosh vault crates. The team here at Tripwire has been working to resolve this issue and, as of this time, we are now confidant we have an updated build to resolve it. So what does this mean for you the players? First of all, expect to see this hotfix released Tuesday next week. Second, due to the nature of this issue, we will also be modifying players dosh vault accounts on our end so that all players who have played since the release of the update are not put into the "over-granted" state, which would prevent them from earning new Dosh vault crates. With the release of the hotfix, your accounts will be normalized to the current amount of crates that you have.

Players that have contacted support about this issue will likely have their tickets closed. If you find you still need support related to this after the release of the update, please feel free to re-open your ticket. For all players, it make take some time for inventory grants to stabalize and players may see some delay in grants and item transactions.

Once again, please expect this hotfix to hit your consoles next Tuesday, and please enjoy the rest of the Cyber Revolt event as it continues to run until April 23rd!

As always, thank you for your continued support!

Console players,

We had recently announced that we planned to deploy a hotfix today to address the dosh vault issue. Part of any hotfix process is to ensure all final checks meet internal quality standards which will ultimately provide zero negative impact to the player base. As such, we are currently targeting a Wednesday release. Should things change we will of course update everyone.

We appreciate your continued patience and support.

Console players,

As mentioned yesterday, we at Tripwire do not want to push out a hotfix to a live environment that does not meet internal quality standards. As such, today's hotfix for the dosh vault issue continues to be worked on and will not be deployed to either console. To provide a bit of context for the delay, once this hotfix is deployed there will be player facing fixes that will be very apparent, such as the continued granting of free crates that are causing unwanted inventory clog and latency issues. However, there are also backend changes that will be in place that are not apparent to the players. These are the changes that require extensive and additional testing. While not the message you hoped to hear today from us, we hope you'll continue to bear with us as we diligently work on bringing this hotfix to you all.

ye well, figuring out stuff for console is a beach... With the stricter modification rules and no option of fixing on the fly like on pc...because everything has to go through sony/microsoft

ever since this "vault" feature was added to the game there has been nothing but issues, almost every update they release the vault becomes unstable with either the Vault its self and or the cosmetics its releasing. Having to contact support for the same problems people face on a daily basis just isn`t worth having the vault as a feature to the game anymore, i rather have it removed or at least give us the option to not opt to the vault to avoid the headaches and stress.
