    Hello everyone!

Earlier this year we added a key foundation system to the game in the form of Holdout style maps. Today we want to talk about another piece to this puzzle; coming as part of the next official map (yet to be announced) is a new feature called Stand Your Ground.

In Stand Your Ground, as players progress through a level, they may be asked to hold a particular location for a Dosh reward, allowing them to more quickly obtain their arsenal of choice for the fights ahead. We look forward to bringing you more details on this system along with the upcoming map in the near future! As always we will want your feedback after this first implementation so we can see what changes, if any, need to be made as we look towards other maps and additional systems.

Last week players got their first glimpse at something larger. Now it is time for the full monty. Introducing the Abomination!

This larger than life monstrosity knows only one motivation, hunger. Be it on you, your fellow mercenaries, or the clots around him, when he decides to "gorge" you will want to be on guard.

Because when he does, things can quickly take a turn for the worse. This armored abomination seems to "expel" some sort of vile bile creature when it successfully consumes its prey!

So knock that armor off quick and keep this threat from enjoying its next meal... because you are on the menu!

And for those of you with an HTC Vive or Oculus Rift, Killing Floor: Incursion is now available on Steam featuring a 4 hour, 2 player co-op campaign enjoyable in both Normal and Hardcore modes as well as a new Katana weapon, leaderboards, achievements, and the exciting new "Holdout" game mode (not to be confused with Killing Floor 2's holdout mode), which finds players defending a random location in one of the game's maps against increasingly deadly hordes of Zeds in a frenetic, arcade-like action experience.

    This.

I just want a normal map, and not this holdout gimmick. Also, what is up with the low map releases anyway? One map every four months is pathetic, especially when it's just a small holdout map. You should really consider putting more man power into your flagship, instead of hoping that someone in the community feels like creating an actual map, that feels like that it could be an official one (looks unique, allows different playstyles, and has some love put into it).

New and good map releases by the community these days actually do get me way more excited than reading your WWAUT's. And I am absolutely honest here.
