Hello everyone,

The Halloween Horror's event continues on, with special drops and unlocks until November 21st, so go out there and bring your team a fright (with your looks, not your playstyle please)!

Now before you make plans to gather up with friends and family this holiday season, recent mercenary reports from the front have given us cause for concern. Things strange and twisted seems to be happening out there, just waiting to break free. We will, of course, endeavor to bring you any updates on this emerging threat as new reports become available.

So far the only concrete material that we've managed to get our hands on is this:

So the 4th boss is a king Bloat. Well i hope that the 5th boss is the long waited super awesome Matriarch! I hope that the Matriarch would be very creepy and spooky boss. I also hope that our first Christmas map is as big as the Evil santas lair. It's pretty hard but cool map.

I've calmed down a lot on my push for them to rebalance it, personally. I'd much rather see new bosses/maps/weapons etc.

For now Survivalist is more than playable IMO. (although you already know my thoughts since we shared a lot of ideas in threads lol)

PS: Oh I forgot. If this is adopted make sure to hire a japanese voice actor or at least someone with JAPANESE accent. The voice will be very funny.

I'm guessing (like everyone else it looks like) an upgraded or boss bloat.
Running I think that it would be cool to have this upgraded bloat wasn't as much of a physical threat on their own, but has a ridiculous health pool and vomits up hordes of zeds in a horrifying parody of birth. Maybe they even burst into more zeds when they die. Like a combination of the Wretched Mothers and Grotesques from Diablo 3.

Just a really big, super tanky zed that exists to make more minions, a boss that would make you focus on crowd control more than just focusing fire, where the horde is as much as boss as the boss itself.

I think that'd be really cool.

So will this be a full on boss or a miniboss zed to join the ranks of the Scrake and Fleshpound? because that looks like he is wearing armor. maybe an extremely tanky zed who sponges up damage instead of dealing it, not getting headshots is practically wasting ammo on him and applying constant pressure with its slow but unrelenting advance.
and possibly an even more powerful, longer ranged puke attack?

I'm kind of shocked of how you make that assumption just by seeing the Nipple haha.

It could just be the seasonal look for the bloat.
Or a bloat elite variant.
Or a bloat boss variant only to be used in one new weekly challenge, "Bloated", as part of an expansion to the weekly challenges' rotation.
Or a bloat boss variant to be used even in survival, but that would be a little disappointing if that means no actual whole unique boss with its own voice and animations and such.
Or there's a chance it's more than a bloat variant, and this is an actual whole unique zed or boss. It it were the matriarch, this would be one odd way to give a sneak peak.
