    Hello everyone!

For those of you just joining us or in need, or a reminder of what all is coming to Killing Floor 2 in the spring update, let us start with a quick information roundup!
    • 2 New Weapons
    • A new way to play Survival
      • With the Holdout sub-mode only playable in new maps built for it (one of which comes as part of this update!)
    • 2 New Maps

It has occurred to us that we hadn't yet named the new map; it is time to fix that! What, you want to know more about the release date as well? Alright. Our current schedule (barring any major issues) has you jumping into The Descent the week of March 20th! That is next week for those of you without a calendar handy.

Later this week we should have a Work In Progress changelog to share with everybody so they can check out all the fine details. Sadly, the timing hasn't worked out for us to be able to get an opt-in beta ready for this update as all hands are full speed ahead for our current timeline and can't break off to make a separate build.

Something else that is coming shortly is our Linux Dedicated Server beta test. It may not be in time for The Descent Content Pack, but sometime in the near future we believe we will have Linux server files ready for admins to test via SteamCMD.

And the last thing we have to share with you today is another Killing Floor comic (here is the last one incase you missed it)! So dive right in and begin your drop into The Descent with your favorite zed fighting crew.

Also im not sure but the LAR feels like the sights are slightly off-center.
LAR sights are dead on when stably aiming, but the levering animation takes them a bit off center for quite a while after each shot, and the notch rear sight makes this less intuitive than KF1 LAR's nice aperture sight animated where it was usually either way off or dead on. Since it's a sharpshooter weapon, maybe the animations should be adjusted to take a hint from cowboy action shooters and hold it steadier while levering to make ADS more worthwhile. Still some recoil to put it off for a moment, though.

Interesting video. Now i wish we can use the LAR that fast and effectively. Like right now for SS, the pistols fare better because they dont sway as much and are much more cheaper to supply. Also wish that the scope wasnt too annoying to use on the M14.
