I've been thinking up sum ideas for an ingame quote prompt that's different to the ones we already have, because when you think about it, we have:
Responses:
Affirmative, Thanks and Negative
Requests:
Healing, Dosh and help
Move to:
Trader and Follow me
Extras:
Emote and Taunt
Where maybe there could be something for "Warnings", prompts such as "Incoming" and "Behind you" and it would be easy to add these because each of the playable characters have all those quotes already, and they would be super helpful.
And the reason why I ask for "Behind you" exactly is for two reasons...
It works, but with precise and intricate flaws:
An example for how it works currently:
1: Two players could be looking at each other, as a zed approach's from behind one of them, the player facing the zed will say behind you, etc. but you need to be almost perfectly aligned...
The quotes are very hard to trigger, even after setting up to trigger them I struggled, so in the heat of the moment, which is almost constant on Hoe, etc, they won't play, so I wondered if they could be simply added to be "Manually triggered".
2: But the main flaw is characters won't say these if their already talking, which they do a lot, where as an example on normal it's slower and zeds are too, meaning your character isn't killing and yapping on as much,
but on hoe your character never shuts up till ur ded and they never get that small gap of time to play the quote where especially on Sui and Hoe, any further warning is greatly needed.

Here are some of the ways "Behind you" can be very useful in game imo:
- Creates better chemistry between characters in game.
- Makes the callouts easier.
- Creates helpful warning when needed most.
- Makes quotes more interesting with something new.
- Ur teammates welding a door as zeds begin to flank them.
- When a scrake or qp or any zed is behind an un expecting teammate.
- Grabbing zeds And trappers.
- Someone's looking for their weapon, that you have, but their running away from you.
- When players begin to get overrun, you can warn the players defending behind.
