why you should be able to change the game length in objective mode

The thing about objective mode's game length being set in stone is that if you fail late in the game, you have to do all of Thatâ„¢ again. Unfortunately most people aren't up to spend another 30-minutes or so to get back to where they were, especially if it's the same map.

What confuses me is that Santa's Workshop is an objective mode map that changes based on the game length, and is a perfect example of how the new maps should function. On long games, it adds extra objectives where players weld power boxes and pull levers. On short games, the game skips all this and only gives you the waves where you push the cart.

I feel this could also work for the new maps, so if players just want to engage in the gameplay variance of objective mode without being obligated to play a medium-to-long length game with some story on the side, they can, while also making it more "retry-friendly" so if you fail late game, you don't have to spend another 30-minutes doing all the objectives again.
