Nice, I like the bottom one best

Although, we don't have footage on this yet, what I'd really like to have as a wallpaper would be:
Either the POV from a german shütze from the Reich who sees the Russians assaulting or from a Russian storming it with his squad.

Sounds like a good action shot. I'll see if the devs are up to such a thing

Nice work. There has been a lack of good RO wallpaper.

I like the top one the best. If your interested in doing more, try the ones of ponyri with the rushing germans. I might try one too.

Yeah I like that ponyri one. The first one is cool but the collage is kinda cheezy. Im sure more ppl would like that but i like the authentic old photo feel.

Howd you do it btw. Is that just a photshop effect with some color enhancements?

I think he did it with an overlay and one of the filters+brushing. Just guessing tho.

Add a noise layer, add grain texture layer (set filter to soft light and 40% opacity) , duplicate the picture and add a hard light filter to the top one and then do a gaussian blur on it. After, it became too dark, bring up the brightness on the original layer then marge the two. Then to a hue/saturation filter t'ill you get the old colour feel. Thats the jift of it, then I just imported another explosion to fill out the top left hand corner and cut out the first person with the binocs.

*EDIT* No I didnt use any brushes, just an eraser.

Im not very good at telling people how I do my work . Hope it helps.

Well if you wan't them to look like old WW2 films just add some realy thin black lines going down and a few black dots and you'll have a vary convincing and realistic WW2 wallpapers.

Do some of tanks like the one of the panzers and the T-34/85 shooting them.
