Just as the title asks, how does one create a server for friends to join? I see no launch server like some games allow one to do (it makes sense to be able to launch a direct IP server after all).

There's no way to make a listen server, like in other games (Counterstrike is a good example). All servers must be dedicated servers. It may be possible to download a dedicated server program through Steam (go to Tools), but I'm not sure.

So I cannot use my own PC to make a server and host the game from it? Not good really. People do like direct IP server connections.

You can create a server on your own computer but you'll have to do some tinkering.

I wish they supported listening servers though...
