I have a quick question for you web experts out there.I am currently building a website for a bike club.I would like to add something like a shout box but for news.So that a couple of trusted people can add news items and the like on the fly through the website.mainly for changes in upcoming events.
I would use a shout box but can't find a simple one which is fully configurable and doesn't have stuff like smillies and other crap i don't need.
I just need a way of having a box where we can type text and the odd image.

oh and i am a bit of numpty with websites.IE i can do what i can do but it takes a long while to learn something new so the simpler the better please
