Because there seems to be a stir rolling around the t'old t'internet about what the upcoming Halloween event will bring, I thought I'd make this thread and have people post their line up of what they think we'll see. Just a bit of forum fun really.

The person to guess closest to the correct line up will win...I don't know yet, but i'll think of something.

Rules are simple, just copy and paste the form below and fill it in with your guess.

So the Form is as follows:

New Zed Re-skins?

Same as last year's skins for the halloween event.


Extras/Random?

Didnt see it in your previous thing, but Ill add this to it.

One new map, M99 blanced (slightly), minor game mechanic bugs fixed, white listing of 2 maps, minor map exploits fixed (mainly EvilSantaLair and AbusementPark), new uptainable skin for doing X number of achievements, and a new DLC (hopefully another woman, but I don't care, a DLC is a DLC)




Not sure if this thread will stay up, or get removed.

Support: Nailgun
Sharpshooter: Bolt action rifle

Demolitions: Assault rifle with exploding bullets.

New specimen?

Possibly. I can't imagine them reskinning the zeds (see below), but you do have to kill 25 gnomes to get an achievement (topic's gone, so I can't re-check -_-) which is awfully similar to last year's "Get 25 scrakes".


New Zed Re-skins?

Same as last year's skins for the halloween event. I can't see them making the previous achievemnts invalid.


Extras/Random?

One new map, new female DLC.

Medic: something like an M16 with a medic dart attachment
Support: Perhaps a shotgun with explosive bullets?
Sharpshooter: MORE HANDGUNS, or better yet, a lighter sniper.
Firebug: The pyro's taunt, rofl. That, or something like having a little incendiary effect over every weapon you own.
Demolitions: Remote explosives, heat grenades, Explosive bullets on every weapon, or something like a C4.
Berserker: THE FLESHPOUNDS' HANDS AS A WHITELISTED MUTATOR.


New specimen?

Fleshpounds with machineguns. The usual fleshpounds are teddy bears, even in HoE.



New Zed Re-skins?

The old ones, but as a separate texture files, so it doesn't blend with the summer events. THE CHICKEN IS ALL MINE AND MINE ONLY.


Extras/Random?

Extra would be something like a scarier pat, the last one looked like a huggable troll.

Start & End date of the event

Monday 29th - Sunday 4th of November.
They lost the event, their problem.

Any form of DLC ever made whatsoever. EA's fault.

Edit: Tripwire, you might release wacky weapons at times that make me complain like an old grandma, but if you released a paid DLC that changed the sound of the Bloat's farts I'd buy it just because you guys are so goddamn awesome.
