Game Crash Upon Start-Up

Hey forums,
I have recently tried playing Killing Floor on my Windows 7 system at home, but whenever I try and play it I get 1 of 2 errors when I get passed the Killing Floor title screen.
1. Run-time issue for C++

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

2. Critical Error
