Viktor, I dont think its the uniforms. The stable SS units play on their server. This draws other players to their server and soon it is full a server. They show good teamwork skills to their guests . This in turn leads to an application to the unit.

Isn't it nice when people have friendly relationships..
Viktor, good luck to you, tovarish!

Btw, looks like your squad doesn't have real russian-speaking member, does it? Some messages on your forum are quite.. strange.

Nope.. we use "Babelfish Russian" just for the flavor, I suppose. All of us are English speakers.

That's horrible . Use the online translator at paralink.com, it gives you a back translation so that you can make sure it actually makes sense . It also gives you both transliterate and cryllic

Thanks Volodnikov.. I'll give it a try.

It was good to see you in our server tonight! Please discuss what we had in mind with your command group. I'm happy to meet with them or drop by your next unit drill at your convenience.

Babefish really, really sucks. Once i had to use it to translate large russian text into english. When it did, my jaw dropped onto the floor. And i began to translate it by myself.
Viktor, i like the idea of a clan based on real Soviet brigade, so i would like to improve it a little, so it'd be really perfect. Your sig says: "Передние камрады" which means "fore-part comrades". I take it that you wanted to say "Forward comrades!", right? If yes, it'll be "Вперед, товарищи!". Russians did not use "comrade" word, they said tovarish (have the same meaning, but comrade is a western word).
I hope you don't get mad, because i didn't want to criticize you, but to help.

Thanks for the suggestions, Bolt. As I said, we're Americans and Canadians that speak English so the Russian text is purely for "flavor" as we can't read it anyway. But if you're going to do something it's worth doing right.

If you REALLY want to be helpful to the Brigade, though, we can use some extra tank crewmen. With battle fast approaching, every man counts. Care to strap one onf of our T-34's, Tovarich?

Soviet occupation... :/ Well, ok, whatever.

When Lithuania was one of 15 republics of Soviet union, the goverment's official language was russian, but, in the republic itself they also tought lithuanian, if one wanted to study it. So, basically, in Lithuania there were 2 common languages: russian and lit, in Latvia - latvian and russian, in Ukraine - ukrainian and russian, etc.

So you are saying it wasnt an occupation? You had to been alive during it, your not 14 or so are you? Sorry, I am not being a smart ***, I just have been curious about all that stuff, since real facts never come out of Russia or the former USSR.

That's a thread hi-jacking, so please let's stop argueing in here and use pm instead.

I am 19 years old, my sister is 25 and my parents are 45+. So yeah, i lived in USSR and know what the life here was like. It wasn't bad.

Does anybody know what Viktor is even up to lately? Or is he totally unreachable?
