Where's my update

i recentlly installed new music for menu and patriarch the music works fine the problem is that the new sideshow update is gone hellride is gone the new weapons including my precious new medic gun is also gone has anyone else had this problem before?

Years back I created a voice pack for L4D2, which involved switching over and matching about 10,000 sound files. Less than 2 weeks later, they had a huge update that totally screwed with what I had done, and pretty much was useless. I put so many friggin hours into that, but oh well, that's the way the cookie crumbles...
