Default critical errors with heavily modded servers

I've been running into this issue with many players crashing out.

example:

History: KBodyGetActor <- BodyGetDoubleRate <- KBuildPartitions <- KWorldStepSafeTime <- KTickLevelKarma <- TickAllActors <- ULevel::Tick <- (NetMode=3) <- TickLevel <- UGameEngine::Tick <- Level KF-Heresy-KFL <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop <- FMallocWindows::Free <- FMallocWindows::Realloc <- 4C576C61 0 FArray <- FArray::Realloc <- 0*2 <- FMallocWindows::Free

And if you run a very heavy modded server then you should know what I mean.

I've been talking to a few people about this issue and it all points to the same thing. Memory Overloads. So there is a 2GB limit on this game? Couldn't you guys up the 2GB threshold or something. Like patch it in the up coming update or something? The Summer Sideshow event? Just do something about this. I've also been told that Marco has warned you guys about this and haven't done anything about.
You work your *** off, countless hours of modding, then a person crashes and cant be bothered anymore

Try this: http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=112556

It's a program to make 32-bit applications large address aware, upping the amount of memory it can access to 4GiB on 64-bit systems. Not sure if it will help that much, but it can't hurt to try.

well I want twi to actually increase the memory threshold. Whats the point of modding when your capped at 2GB? and its not just me crashing its pretty much everyone. I show people fixes and etc but they never look at it.

It doesn't look like this program supports cmd-line loading, so it's basically useless to me as as server operator that uses batch scripts.

It would be nice if Tripwire simply added a "64-bit OS?" radio button, or even an auto-detect feature as many other applications have them. Perhaps modifying ucc.exe and repackaging it in that regard has some legal issues, though, but I also don't doubt that they're no longer staffed to be able to accommodate any actual new low-level features or binary modification in the game.

I just had my first memory crash today. Really makes you wonder, as a server operator, the worth of continuing the venture of KF dedi's when there's little recourse you can take to adding to the game outside of vanilla without crashes -- and moreso if TWI won't address.

The entire game exists on the basis that it is a MOD, how can the devs be so ignorant as to disregard the community's need to expand upon that premise when there are server breaking issues within something as simple as a memory allocation patch?

there is even an exploit that an ip connects to a server and it just crashes the entire server. I have yet to get an answer from someone at Twi about it

That's not the only problem, as it seems that there needs to be some sort of periodic "garbage collection" in order to decrease the memory usage of a server.
