Default What RO2 gametypes do you want to see at TWIL?

This is a simple poll just to get an idea the most popular gametypes and gamemodes players want to see in TWIL.

I voted: Territory Classic

but stamina should be upgraded, or did all these soldiers smoke 60+ cigarettes per day? they are tired way too fast and the aiming is too long too terrible after stamina is out.

I would love to see a competativ mutator that have the:

1. Classic weapon loadouts and how the weapon fuctions(includes the stamina affecting the aim).

2. With Realism movment and staminapool.

This would imo be the best way to make the gamplay still skillfull but not slow as a snail.

the poll is simply to guage what you the community would essentially like to compete at.
Server settings and gameplay changes will be for another thread once we have all the communities preferences on the basic gametypes and gamemodes.
The more people that vote the better, so we would ask that everyone please encourage your clan mates to vote.

I think Territory in Classic is ok.
I think Countdown in Realism is better than in Classic (or a Realism base with some Classic options). Classic mode for CD is too slow for a quick efficient action and break a little the CD dynamism.

its a nice poll for interest gauging, but I sure hope in the end you will decide on what to offer based on what the actual clans participating want. Rather than public players that perhaps won't participate in any competitive play prefer.

Similar if a clan with 700 players prefers a certain mode while everybody else hates it they wont have any other clan to play against. Which is why I think it should be actual clans that vote rather than individual players in terms of real decision making.

I agree with you on this point. Individual players shouldn't even really vote for themselves but only if they are willing to participate in a clan in the future and which gametype / mode they would recommend to play then.

Exactly the point putten forward by Zetsumei... I try to help to gauge this activity up by entering a server, checking the player list on steam and adding players who have a clantag in their name. Upon adding them I redirect them to this site and poll in the hope that the world and votes will spread among the clans, so that in a while, clans will play vs themselves on the gametype / mode they want.

So Vote.

Our poll is simply to guage the overall feeling that the community has to any given gametype or gamemode in a competitive enviroment.
Of course we are aware that it is not clan specific just as the poll aspke has now made is not clan specific.
Anyone who is a forum member can vote on it.
Final gametypes & gamemodes, team sizes and servers settings etc will be something more better suited for the www.TWILadder.com website once we are up and running.
But until then we can at least get a feel for what people want to play.

countdown realism, came classic sucks with the bs running system. it is making it easy for campers that do not want to play with tactics.

Make classic with normal running!!!!!

There is a server option for realism servers to run with classic weapon load outs and spawn on squad leader disabled.

Cant share the same opinion about that.
I played around 10 CD-pcw allready with the new Classic mode.
Its all in all still the same stuff going on along with tactics, you just have in many terms the classical Ostfront Gameplay.

In TWI ladder, all should be set to classic mode( with all Ostfront related settings ), in all 3 Game types!

I don't feel like the classic movement speed suits the countdown game mode. You are not able to do the same flank movements etc as they take so much more time, and the game becomes even more campy ^^.

That the way it should be done, if somemone want to play CD or TE in competition it's fine but we must agree on the game setting/mode , and the classic mode is the best way to go ! ( for the game speed and the feeling of the weapons)
