You just need to make your map shine with existing content. It is very possible!

(Or team up with other content creators for new environmental art)

it's never to late. i start with mapping 1-2 months ago. and next thing is what i want to learn is, put my own meshes (with perfect light ^^) in the udk.

I just started using 3ds Max a few days ago. I have a newfound respect for people who know how to UV map their meshes now.
