So I know many people are having trouble with this achievement (title named one) and my counter is stuck on 5 to and I'm sure as hell there were many times I killed specimens feeding on my dead foes but it just wouldn't count so I wonder maybe there is some manual way to fix it or any unusual way at all without the tripwire fixing it (which they won't)...

There's no way to 'fix' it as such but there is a way to achieve it.

Take a friend to the whitelisted Doom map on Beginner and select demo as your perk. at spawn one person drops down and the other stays up the top (you need lvl5-6 to spawn with m79). person who stayed in spawn needs to hide around the corner so no specimens see or follow you, person who dropped down should go to the center of the room and just allow themselves to get eaten.

At this point you wait a few seconds after theyve died, then run out from around the corner and launch an m79 nade at the center of the room. You should get at least 1 more added to the counter after this, so just repeat the process until you get the achiev.



Explaination: There needs to be at least 4 specimens feeding on the body at the same time and you have to kill them all in one hit for it to register.

You can do this in other ways but I found the doom method the easiest
