Achievements not unlocking in single player mode

Mainly what the title says, im trying to unlock some of the HOE achievements and I do a lot better by myself but any time i complete the map i dont get the achieve. Any one know why this would be? Does pausing the game mess up achievements? Would i be better off just finding an empty server and hope no one joins or what lol? Also have noticed this trying to unlock some other achievements like "We have ourselves a cowboy," it wouldnt unlock for me in single player.

Any tips or advice would help

If you go into 3rd person mode even once during solo the game automatically thinks you've enabled cheats. All perk and achievement progression immediately stop but it doesn't undo the progress from before you went in 3rd person..
