Still having it making it difficult to use the Russian smg or the German MG. The AVT-40 is fine for me but those two guns make for a bad nightmare for me. Has anybody found a fix for it yet?

Yeah, sadly not everybody has this bug so it usually gets fixed randomly out of nowhere which is what happened I guess last time. It feels rather funny playing as a German Soldier with the DP-28. It's okay for me in realism mode but in Classic I'm screwed since I have no choice so I either stutter on the first shot and the rest are fine but once I stop firing it starts all over again.

PS: As an update I tried the MG-34 fixed MG and it fires fine but only the player controlled MG-34 causes me stutter and so does the ppsh.

Exact same behaviour for me, fixed MG does not cause stutter, unfixed does.

Today I decided to do play again and I ended up picking up the MG-34 off a dead ally and I ended up not stuttering anymore. I also did something which was kill explorer.exe and i dunno if that was causing my problem but it was okay. I tried making a .bat to auto close it when i launch the game and auto restart once i close it but steam will not let me.

Why don't you just use gamebooster? It's much easier

I have seen it today again with my mg34. I think that it was because a 64 player server.

It`s a pitty that my own handling didn`t work after all.

Yes, everything.

From that to editing ini, to resetting. Reinstalling.

Modifying system settings.

I did use gamebooster but it doesn't close explorer.exe which is what shows you your desktop etc etc. I haven't tried it again but if I do and it works then i know explorer.exe is giving me the problem.

Tried this, yet it made no difference for me :\.

Any other changes you've made to the ini or something?

I think you have to draw a line between making the game look rubbish, or just staying away from a certain weapon until they fix the problem.

You can manually tell gamebooster which programs to close by going to "Configue" then ticking the process, in your case "explorer.exe".

Although, I don't get it, so I wouldn't know if it comes up in GB.

I have tried to set steam in your windows-task to low and have tried
on servers less than 32 players. It doesn`t matter, the stutter is still there.

I will try other posibilities.

(i have a minimum of background programs)

The only similarities our systems hold through specifications are these two parameters.

win7 64bit - Creative X-FI Xtreme soundcard.

Yet, I've tried it on my system without the sound card, and it still stutters.

So the ONLY similarity is that we both use windows 7 64 bit

I'm on Windows XP 32-bit. I haven't tried it without my Auzentech Prelude, though.

Hmmm.. Maybe it's software...

Everyone here using Microsoft Security Essentials anti-virus? (Directed only at those who experience the PPSH stutter)
