Alright so I've been playing RO for 5 years pretty much but I still never got aroudn to fixing this. How do I make it so custom maps don't have to redownload every few weeks? What about for DH? Thanks

Hello Mate,

You can either use KFCacheExtractor to extract cache files into .rom files (the map file) and save the maps to \Steam\steamapps\common\red orchestra\Maps, so you wouldn't have to redownload them once a month.

OR

You can find your RedOrchestra.ini (\Steam\steamapps\common\red orchestra\System)

and ctrl+f to find the following and change 30 to 0.

[Core.System]
PurgeCacheDays=30

OR

You can manually download the maps from RedOrchestra.pl and save to your Maps folder

I am sorry but will this mess with future map updates where you ACTUALY need to download the maps? Thank you!

Or put all the rom map files ina 7zip or rar and upload them somewhere and give the link? Will be very helpful!
