New class and Weapons idea

I had an idea from playing other FPS games and I feel that this game lacks something. How about an addition of a Perk as well as some new weapons.

The Mechanic:
Can provide heavy defense for your team with light and heavy machine guns. Gains experience from dispensing ammo and getting kills from turret.
- Has 20% damage bonus for LMGs and HMG.
- Travels slower than other perks.
- Max health and armor boosted by 25%.
- Can set up a LMG sentry turret (only one per Mechanic and replaces weilder.)
- Can dispense ammo for free for other players (they must have the weapon they want replenished selected to refill ammo.)
- Starts with a SMG, The A180.

SMGs
A180 (American 180)- a low-powered yet high RoF SMG

UMP- high power with moderate RoF. (Something for the Medic perk)

BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle)- High-powered LMG with low RoF. Can pierce through Specimens.

Stoner- High RoF with decent power. A relatively light weapon.

M60- Has high power w/ moderate RoF. Uses Ammo belt therefore has long reload time yet very large ammo capacity.

This wasn't at all influenced by Engineer, TF2 then.

Also, no. Auto-aiming turrets? Ammo dispensers go against any kind of survival horror ammo watching.

Gains experience from dispensing ammo? wat?

Just... no.

Apologies for the very harsh criticism, I just don't feel thsi kind of role would work well in the KF universe atm.

Sorry if you don't like. The dispensing ammo thing was to more make it "unique" from others. When removed, then the kills from LMGs and HMGs will give the perk experience to "level-up."

More based upon the Marine species from AVP. I guess the Turret can have an ammo limit.

Suggested 3 times a week. Really.

if there is ever a machine gun in killing floor, i would hope that you have to set it up prone on a bipod, have it take up 14 blocks of weight, have a decently limited ammo pool, and constant fire makes it overheat like a mother****er



Sounds like the right type of detail for a machine gun in KF. The very limited amount of ammo can increase when in the shop where you could buy the machine gun satchel for 700 which would increase bullet capacity for MG by 400 bullets.
