Default Recon in classic. Keep it, get rid of it or modify?

Theres a poll, what to do with recon plane in classic mode:

1) Keep it as is

2) Get rid of it completely

3) Modify it, so one the TL can see enemy positions while sitting near the radio, an can so perfectly menage his ari strikes and maybe give informations over VOIP

4) Keep it as ist, but make it only for TLīs and SLīs viewable over the tactical display

You can joice multiple answers. So maybe you like 3 OR 4, you can hit both.

Option 4 is nice. But no way a removing.

Currently you can only get information about the recon if the TL is beside the radio. There is also a lag behind in information.

- TL instant info.
- SL 3 sec delay
- Normal inf 6 sec delay

I am currently quite content with this system, as it is quite useless for normal inf. If there is improved SL teamwork and features. I would have no problem with limiting it only to the TL and SL. But for now I don't think the SL's will cope with reporting the enemies movements.
-So don't change it for now imo.

I think both commander and his squad leaders should see this, so they'll assist in marking artillery targets.

^^this.
if this suggestion is being taken into consideration by the devs, i would also prefer option 4 for realism mode.

Just going to paste what I wrote from another very similar thread...

In my opinion, it simply needs to be tweaked in such that only Commanders and Squad Leaders can see the positions on their actual map (if the Commander remains by the radio) and off Tactical display (T key). Hence they must communicate in-game and relay the information to the rest of their teammates/squad members.

This retains an importance to these roles and encourages more teamwork and people to listen to their Commanders/Squad Leaders.

Simple.
