Default Iron Sight when changing your weapon [5th April Patch]

Was it before or was it after the last patch?

Today i have noted that the IS stay when you switching your weapon.

I was an SL and hold my rifle in IS, than i switch my weapon by press "2" to the pistol and i hold it in iron sight, directly.

I´m not sure it that is a "bug" or if that is wanted.

But i don´t like it very much. It makes the weapon switching very fast (and it feels very unrealistic)

When you are switching your weapon, you have to shoulder the first one (rifle) and than grab the second one (Pistol for example).
You need some time for this, and you will never be able to switch your weapon in 1,5 sec from rifle IS to pistol IS.

Tripwire, please change this.

It's always been like that. I quite like it tbh; makes that transition between longer range rifle shooting and close range pistol shooting much more seemless (to me at least).

I definately don't like the IS-to-IS switching. Not intuitive.

if you switch from IS from primary to pistol, it should toss your primary on the ground. If you have it at your hip and switch, it switches like normal. Only way you go from Iron sights, to pulling your pistol as quick as hell is by just dropping your firearm.

Or holding your rifle in your left hand and just going one-handed with the pistol like the player does in-game (The one handed pistol part).

Besides, dropping the weapon in this situation would make it a pain in the ass, would you have to wait until your iron sights were fully lowered before you can swtich without your gun going flying away infront of you?

I like it as it is, no point in adding very slow reflexes to things that would annoy you in-game. Plenty slow, 1,5sec is enough to get you killed plenty of times in CQB.

-Bottom line, restraining is all well for the sake of tactical gameplay, but when it's more of an annoyence than it helps it not worth it.
Example slower running, annoying but indeed worth it!

Other:

What they really should make add an "Iron Sight (Hold)" function.
That way, if you hold the IS button while switching weapons you should go straight into IS, else you should not.

Not very cool idea for snipers and MGs. So this is a no.
