We are conducting another network test for high player servers in hopes of improving playability for players reporting problems in that environment.

During the test time we need to fill the server first to 64 players and restart twice with different settings, then fill it to 45 and run the same tests (restarting twice again). The server IP will be: 74.91.112.170:7777

If you are part of the RO 2 OGG you will receive a reminder when we are testing: http://steamcommunity.com/games/RO2/events/1335551623789587156

I honestly hope something useful can be proven or illustrated as a result. I have always been a big skeptic of the notion that the game engine is largely the source of lag. 37 years in communications and 17 years exclusively building broadband networks influences my attitude. But every time I've argued the point, vast numbers of folks I refer to as the "fix-it-for-me" crowd come flying at me with push-back. Ok. Fine. I'll shut up. At best, the game performance may be improved; at worst, I hope folks will get a better idea of how many variables may be involved in a host to server connection.
