I have created the Steam group Killing Floor Tournaments/Events for the purpose of this tournament and other events. Join it if you're signed up, want to follow its progress, or get word on other happenings.

I have 2 more questions:

1. Can team captains sign (invite to game) new members after signup ends? We have 4 members in the team and we are sure to get 2 more friends to play tournaments games, but at the current moment we just don't know yet, who of them will agree to play.
2. May team have more than 6 players? (for reserve)

I can always fill up holes if needed. I didn't care to sign up my team. I think this would be a great oppertunity to meat other great players. and not those usual 6squad zerker teams.

1. Get them signed up ASAP. I'll allow until Wednesday, but after that only fill-ins can sign up.
2. Maximum players is 7. I want any extra players to be put on more teams so they actually get to play and meet other members of the community (primary purpose of this tournament).

A little update - the announcement is being delayed to Thursday. Many players didn't sign up properly so I'm having to sort a bunch of that out. Mostly just making sure people don't flip out when I move them to their appropriate difficulty brackets. I've learned a lot about the process, though, and that people don't read nearly as closely as seeing single words apparently, so next time I'll be sure to make a signup system that doesn't allow you to signup with issues. But for now, wait one more day for that announcement!

Yeah, there were too few Suicidal players, so that bracket was removed and the players were moved to Hard or HoE.

But one question remains: Why team doesn't get penalties for player deaths? I think it is a big difference how the team is survived the wave: all players stayed alive or 5 of them died and only a zerk stayed alive and finished the wave by kiting?

You may not rely exclusively on a Berserker or ZerkerMed to carry you. Too much reliance on this (AKA not playing as a team really) will result in score penalties. In general, if your team is carried too hard by a single player, you will be penalized.

If you missed the announcement on the KF Tourney Steam Group, I was dissatisfied with the results from testing out the different perk replacement mutators so I made my own very simple one that we will be using in all the tournament matches. If you want to test it out and practice with it, you may download it at this download link. Note that this is of course non-whitelisted and it may be updated before the matches begin, but the core functionality will remain the same.
