Escape key for Chat

I hope we can get an escape option for chat. It's small but would really be appreciated.

Yup, it's annoying to have to backspace and press enter if you decide not to post in chat.

yeah i was playing as commander checking out the map while using the radio.. for some reason, when i was done, i couldn't get out of the radio.. hit escape, M, ctrl, all the things to break away from the radio.. i couldn't understand what was going on, just stuck on the map screen.. turns out i had managed to hit Y and was stuck inside chat! kinda frustrating to think your game has locked up, when in reality you're stuck in chat! TTTTTTTTTTTTTTwwwwwwwasasdwswaaTqqqqqqqqqqqqq

And that if you walk forward and start typing something, that you do not automatically continue walking forward when done typing.
