Keybind toggle for Showhud Off/ON Pleeeease.

I often find the HUD overwhelming with info, especialy when the round is over.

I know the consol comand "Showhud Off/ON" but I love to have a key to toggle it on and off.

Can it be done?

Go to ->
Documents\my games\RedOrchestra2\ROGame\Config\ROInput.ini

Just pick a key you want (I picked the '5' key) and then edit the control part , and change it to 'showhud'

You will have to change two entries , shown below...

good luck with it , works a charm , really adds to the game...

example ->

Bindings=(Name="five",Command="showhud")

Bindings(Name="five",Command="showhud",Control=Fal se,Shift=False,Alt=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgnore Shift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)

Another Bind on my wishlist is a key that toggles or better Swap Mousebutton 1 with Mousebutton 4 (Thumb )
The real MG34 had two triggers but you used the same finger to fire.
I'm sure many of you would like this feature, or keybind too.
Fire mode should be, for easy of use, selectable to one trigger.

This has bugged the hell out of me since I started playing ROOST back in 2006

So Help me please.

What have you tried so far regarding the hud command?
I'd try something like

Now I need to find a way to swap between these two mousebuttons

As you see in post nr #6 I got a toggle bind already

What we need now is a toggle key to swap "Fire and Alt-fire"
So we can shoot single shots with the MG34 with the same trigger finger ( Mousebutton 1 )
