Is it possible to remove the trader completely from a map, no radio during waves, no red glowing trail during the pauses between waves. And no store either. (I know you usually have to manually add trader rooms/stores into the map. But will removing the trader room and so forth still have her radio during the waves?) I'm attempting to make a survival like map. All you get is the weapons that spawn on the ground. (Along with ammo and body armour)

It sounds like you're looking for a Story Mode type map. I never hear Trader noises on, say, Resident Evil maps. And I believe those tend to be set to Story Mode.
Unfortunately, there's virtually zero official support for it. But here's a good primer on the subject: http://forums.tripwireinteractive.co...ad.php?t=78480 It sounds like you don't necessarily want an objective-style map where the players have to follow a linear path. BUT: you can use those same tools to trigger different map conditions. Perhaps a circular loop of triggerable doors/events, and have 2-4 of them activate every "wave", clockwise or(and?) counter-clockwise? Would add some variety and unpredictability anyways. Just a thought.

Isn't there a default mutator called no trader? I'm not sure if that's what your looking for though.
