Default Animations

Hey ho.
I am just a RO fan from the far far germany an i really like the idea of a game like ROtaking place in the pacific cenario, but wehn i watched the first trailer i was a little disapointed. why?

well there was one litle point.
Why did the developers use the russian running animation for the japanese soldiers?
in many historical pictures an footages it can bee seen that the japanese infantry took their rifles into the right hand while running. the german infantry dind the same, to take more energy out of the weight of the rifle. something what ist recognized in RO2.
so my question is, why did they use this russian running animation whent the german animation would have been more accuarte? or is it just because of a very erarly verion of the game?

We have had access to photos showing Japanese soldiers running with rifles both in one or two hands.

We have not been able to ascertain that there was any regulation regarding this matter. If anyone can provide us with resources stating categorically that there was some regulation we will gladly make the necessary changes.

ww2 Japanese Tribute - YouTube
In the video, most japanese soldiers carried their rifle one-handed when they're running.
