Hello everyone, first of all RO2 is an excellent game in its own right, and im happy that the dev team continues and works hard to make the game as better as it can possibly be (for a game ofc)
When i first saw rising storm i imagined banzai charges, the bushido code, melee weapons, guerilla fighting in the forests, foxholes and lots of other similar combat tactics now what i want to request...and i hope that it will be added,is a katana sword. The katana sword is..well we all know what it is the officers of the japanese army had katana swords, possibly family heirlooms,or more cheap forged ones, and they used them in close combat to great effect,or in terrifying banzai charges! So what i am proposing is' why dont you add the sword as a primary weapon(NOT a special or time limited weapon) to the officer role, and with it add the special ability banzai charge/warcry so that when it is activated, the japanese officer lets out a scream so terrifying that the enemies are suppressed/frightened and the nearby japanese infantry gaining a massive boost to their moving speed/firing rate/morale and become an effectively dreaded force? i believe that this is one good balancing feature that would increase the level of realism (about historically accurate information) and the balance because of the inadequate japanese army equipment. Alwayz have fun, Emperor |
