Default Rising Storm debut trailer & interview on Gamespy

RISING STORM DEBUT TRAILER

Red Orchestra 2: Rising Storm - Debut Trailer - YouTube

We know you have all been waiting to see how Rising Storm has been progressing and, at last we are able to show you our first trailer, brought to you by our good friends over at Gamespy.

This is "The Japanese Trailer" featuring a preview of some maps from the Japanese perspective, with another one due at the end of next month bringing the US side and some of the new weapons to the fore.

Along with the trailer there is an interview with Tripwire VP, Alan Wilson and Tony Gillham, the producer, in which they discuss the history of the mod and what we can expect for the future.

So hop over there now and get up to speed on Rising Storm.

There are also different language versions of the trailer here: http://www.1cpublishing.eu/game/rising-storm/downloads

We also have a youtube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/risingst...e?feature=mhee

We could play tricks like nerfing US automatics and semi-automatics to address this balance issue but would probably get lynched by the realism fans and, frankly, it doesn't sit right with us, either. So we are working on other ways to make both sides enjoyable to play, whilst remaining true to authentic weapons and loadouts.

YUSH!

Nestor that is awesome, a real FPS taking place in the PTO. All kinds of possibilities for battles; from the steamy jungles to the urban hell of Manilla and the likes. Will you include the Chinese at all by chance? Just American for now? I hope to see Aussies and Limeys as well since there were some very contested battles with those two forces as well. Will fully support it like the other RO spin-offs.

Wow! Great to hear Japanese and see a great map of their expansion at the start--much better than having a Japanese-accented English intro. The footage looked early but promising, so I hope there's a lot more where that came from. Good luck, and keep it up!

Wow this looks pretty awesome. I'm much more fond of jungle maps than city maps so this is looking pretty cool to compliment RO2.
