Hi, whats the most simple way to keep the game server updated? I manually run the command:
hldsupdatetool.exe -command update -game redorchestra2 -dir d:\RO2Srv
My guess is that you could make this happen with windows scheduler, but how? You need to somehow shut down the running game server process prior to updateing, and then after the update start the gameserver process again.
I have no scripting skills myself and would be greatful for som help on this one. Maybe someone with skills can paste a sample script or bat file with som instructions or point me to a URL. If so, thanks!
