Default Red Orchestra SDK (Beta) available 5pm EST 28th April

Red Orchestra SDK (Beta) available 5pm EST 28th April

Beta SDK out today!

The Red Orchestra SDK will be available in a Beta form at around 5pm EST today (28th April). To get your hands on it, simply click on the "Tools" tab in Steam, right-click on the "Red Orchestra SDK" and chose "Install". It is that simple. The manual and sample maps for the tutorials are all included. For those who want to get some reading in, the SDK manual is available from our Downloads section, under "Manuals".

The SDK comes as one integrated toolset, based on the well-known UnrealED. This includes the full manual and tutorial maps for those just getting started, plus full Actor descriptions for the more experienced.

Go build something cool!

Anyone downloading the SDK PLEASE read this overview: http://www.redorchestragame.com/foru...ead.php?t=6770

How hard would it be to integrate the original mods maps into Ostfront? Im sure its not a simple task due to the different engines used, but im just curious is all.

BRILLIANT manual, I've tried Angelmapper and many others and not really caught on but in this one i know exactly what im supposed to do and can make an educated guess at what to do next!

EDIT: who wrote it, because i'll buy them a 12 pints oh and next round is on me!

Default Errr...

I've waited for the SDK to come out, before buying RO:OST. I will buy it shortly, but want the boxed version, which seems to be a bit problematic, seeing that I'm from The Netherlands...the only european country not having the game in shelves atm.

Ok, here's the probably very n00b question. If I bought the boxed version, will I still be able to get the SDK? I don't have Steam installed.

...let the flaming begin...
