MKb 42 solution

Just removed it (and other silly guns) from realism mode. 90% of moaning gone.

I say make a simple gun jamming system.
As in reality, german weaponry was great but was jamming quite often.
This would solve the mkb problem as well as the laser-mp40.

This is very obviously a NO, because then people who want to use these elite weapons would fill up the Squad Leader spots, just for the weapon. They would likely not perform their role as squad leader at all.

I would rather vote for that option for elite rifleman, Mkvb and AVT are still rifles right/?

Just give it to "Elite Rifleman" already.

It's a rifle, it's 'elite', and ER is limited to 2 slots.

It's an assault rifle, very big difference with that extra word, it was used for more close combat and well 'assault' storm type situations more so than long range, even though it was effective at rifle distances, most troops who did were ordered to not switch to full automatic mode.
I guess that's why they don't wanna put it in elite rifleman?

Have to agree.

Eveirbody is missing here that Tripwire is selling the instant acces to the MKB42 in form of a DDE pack that is STILL on the shop .

If they create a new class for the mkb as suggested that class should be locked to people who payed the DDE or unlocked it by being a Hero .
The actual unlock system that suposses the mkb to be hard to gain is ruined since the very first moment that the acces to it can be payed with a few bucks ... Can you imagine what will happen when the game goes on speacial sale ? , with the DDE upgrade at only 2 or 3 bucks and the DDE edition 50 or 75% off ? .

AS I said the whole conecpt of the MKB being rarely is broken since you can buy that acces ...I don't know how they did not noticed about that ! , fixing and reseting the stats will only resolve the problem partially if They don't create a new locked class ... but ... no matter if you make a class wich need unlock if there is an easy way to boost XP , sure in the future we will see boost and achievement servers as there are for CS , DOD or TF2.
