Hi all, first time posting in this forum. I was a big fan of the original RO and I was looking forward to getting this game, but I`ve been reading a lot of bad feedback on various sites about this game being a bug filled mess at the moment. Is it really that bad or is it playable enough to get now without waiting for some major patching? Thanks.

Honestly, I'd say to go ahead and get the game now. The bugs are still present but hopefully not for long.

I ended up buying it off Steam today (couldn`t wait anymore) and so far I haven`t encountered any problems other than i`ve been getting my *** handed to me so far, lol. That`s no big deal though, RO had a fairly steep learning curve as well. Definitely going to be part of my FPS rotation.

I'm new to RO and haven't purchased Ro2 yet. Is the digital version worth getting? Like, can I still get the proto type weapons with the original version? And what is the pre lease stuff for the game.
Thanks Last edited by Squad Leader; 09-26-2011 at 07:41 PM. |

What?
I'm going to get the game no matter what. But, is the digital version worth it? The prototype weapons are exclusive to the digital version or what? And what is the pre release stuff that they advertise? To hard to ask? Thanks Last edited by Squad Leader; 09-26-2011 at 11:23 PM. |

Get the digital version, coz even if you buy it on disc their is still about a 6gb download from Steam after you install, and quite a lot of the early bugs have now been ironed out, as Kaner can testify to.
