After installing the retail version of RO2 on Steam, I have been unable to launch into the game at all. When I hit Play, all that happens is the splash screen with the single soldier and the RO2 logo pops up for a second before rogame.exe crashes. I have never gotten past this point with the retail version.
I had no problem launching the beta when it was ongoing, so I'm curious why the beta would work fine while the retail version won't even launch correctly.
