Was playing, game crashed. Tried to rejoin and noticed a patch was downloading. After downloading I tried to get back into game and now it crashes as soon as the RO picture comes up (rogame.exe stopped working screen). Tried to verify the game cache and that still didn't work.

About 20 guys from my clan just updated and all have the same problem, soon as you launch the small white RO screen comes on, then it all crashes, happening to everyone I know on RO, about 50 or so

Dont you just love it?

You go work your butt of the whole week to earn dosh to get loads emone, sit down and want to relax. You prepare to play your favourite game, which sure may have a few bugs, but it is still fun. I mean you can at least play it right?

And then you see that a patch came out! You think about how the bugs that poison your game and fun have been killed.

As the download nears its completion, you embrace for a fun night, after waiting for the 240 mb patch. It sure must have patched a lot.

Then you start the game and get a "rogame.exe stopped working"




I would get fired for doing such a job.

I love TWI and have both RO OST, RO2 and KF but god damn you guys ****ed up this launch.

this is easily the single most fail launch of a game ive seen now in 15 years. There have been some bad one, but this one is like a bad april fools joke

Same here. I ran the UE3 resdistributable just in case, but it didn't solve the insta-crashing at launch.

same here. I'm not getting a dump file and the launch.log is empty but the log file seems to update with the last modified time being accurate.
