played this at i27 (big lan hosted by mulitplay) and even on highest settings it looked rubbish (aliasing etc), Some bits like fire etc looked good but the general textures were very low quality.

Cant comment on game play didnt play long enough to find out but i would wait for reviews first. (run speed was quite slow about the only thing i noticed)

I have to agree, i have played the xbox 360 version and despite some AI issues and my hatred of using a gamepad for this type of game I was very impressed. Everything I have seen of the PC version has set off alarm bells though. The latest trailer for example is high res but the graphics look awful compared to the 360 and the game actually stutters even though it doesn't look like a next gen engine, in fact it looks thoroughly mediocre.

I hope I can be proved wrong, as on the 360 GRAW is wonderful, so immersive and visually stunning, really does the moden battlefield well.

While I don't think it's going to be as good as GR1, it's not a direct port so don't give up on AW yet.

GR1 was awesome on the ps2. Havent played it on the pc. It was the best console shooter i have ever played.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first GR but I am concerned that this one looks like it is getting away from the point of the first two. Recon implies a certain amount of stealth and this seems like a run and gun through an urban street. More Rainbow Six enviroment which is alright but not this series.

I mainly played around with physics and controls. Too finicky right now to try playing through the whole game for me.

To have the high textures in the demo, you MUST have a 512mb video card. Othewise, the option isn't even available unless you manually edit this xml file

I'll stick with my 360 version thank you. With GHAWs graphics my computer will explode if I try to run it with my sh*tty videocard.

I got the game, it crashes alot. I get weird errors too, supposedly has something to do with directX. Can't even finish the first mission, that's how bad it is. 6600 GT 256mb :/

I tried the demo. Uninstalled it after 20 mins. The gameplay really sucks. No 'feeling' what so ever. And then it's really ugly too.
