Re-using beta config in final release

Simple question..

Is it safe to use my config (keybinds etc) from the beta folderand copy it over into the final release folder? Yes Its a little bit lazy, but saves a little time setting up my keys, audio, mouse sensitivity etc.

Or should I just use the default then edit via the menu (perhaps due to differences in the builds)
