Default Servers still not showing up

I'm quoting Yoshiro from a sticky, and I have to disagree with the final sentence. I still have trouble with the 0 servers thing, about 50% of the time. Neither of the 'fixes' works. The only thing that will get servers to show when it happens is to exit and restart the game repeatedly until they do show. Anyone else see this?

We are aware that some users may experience an issue in the server browser where it will report back that it has found 0 servers and it is filtering 0.

This problem is an issue with the steam master server system that we are currently working with them to address. However, until we do so you WILL need to take the following steps to work around the situation.

Solution 1

Option 1: Opt into the steam client Beta - http://forums.steampowered.com/forum....php?t=2052495

Option 2: In the following support article (WHICH IS FOR ANOTHER ISSUE), follow the instructions to download the masterserver.vdf files and place them in your steam/config directory.

Solution 2

If after attempting the previous solution, you still can't see servers, you might have Filters that are preventing you from seeing any. This could be a result of you clicking the "Instant Match" button, which sets some Filters. As of today, it's still not functioning as intended.

The fix is to simply click on the Filters button on the bottom-left of your server browser. Uncheck the boxes for "No Empty Servers", "No Full Servers", "No Password Servers". Now click the Apply Button, and you should now have servers flooding in!

---------------------------------------------------------------------

After doing so you will now be able to see servers in the server browser. See you on the front!
