Voice Communication Problem.

Please, please.

For the love of god, please make it so that you can turn off Voice chat altogether. It's annoying and impractical to click on random spaces in the "Voice Communication" tab because the name of whoever is speaking doesn't show up and because you can't see any names in the tab anyways. Not to mention that it's overall more practical to be able to just shut everyone up, and not worry about my ear being blown off by a voice that's marginally louder than the game.

The VoIP system seems to need quite a bit of work...

I have a perfectly fine working mic and I'm always in Mumble with RL friends...
but I can't seem to configure it for RO2.

The voice needs:
The player name of who is speaking, for the love of love!
Also, color-codes so you can see if it's a Squad Leader, or Commander, etc.

Riiiighht?

And hopefully this time around we'll actually be able to mute people, unlike in RO1.

I honestly almost never hear anyone using the voip and when I do they quickly cut out. Am I missing something here or is the voip set up so you can only hear people in your squad or near you, or is it just a bug?

I muted people all the time in RO1. Hit ESC, go to communication, and set Ignore VoiceChat.

Never worked for me, I could still hear them even after doing that.
