Default RiccardoTheBeAst's BUG report 01

First of all, congrats TWI! The beta is beautiful! (but bugged a lot )

So, here there is a list of bug/errors that i've encountered:

-Crash to desktop (~6 in about 6-7 hours of play).
-Invisible tanks (image 01)(image 02).
-Tanks reload shells also when the loader is dead.
-It's possible to see through the textures in every map (image).
-Bolt action rifles reload always one projectile more when you reload a partial magazine (example: you fired 3 shots and then you reload: 4 projectiles will be reloaded).
-Recon plane gets stuck in the sky and remains immobile (happened in Aparments).
-Tanks are "holograms" in certain situations and the shells pass through them without hit.
-Tanks levitate some centimeters above the terrain in certain situations.
-Sounds need to be adjusted because some sounds are too low or too high (MGs for first).
-Sometime you have the impression that the projectiles pass through the players without hit them. This is 100% sure with PPSh, i'm not sure about the other weapons.
-Tanks sometimes fire where they want instead of where you are actually aiming your sight/gun (this happened to me in T-34, i cannot confirm for Pz IV).
-There is a granular effect if you select "War movie" preset in the graphic options.
-It happens often that you spawn while shooting automatically -or someone of your team.
-Tanks damage system has some problems: shells ricochet when they should clearly penetrate and viceversa.
-Sounds are forced to 32.
-Still some crashes to desktop in the server menu.
-Low framerate with high settings (RO2 @ everything ULTRA runs as Crysis 1 @ everything VERY HIGH in DX10).
-Server filters don't work in some situations and/or with some options selected.
-Red sight that happears randomly and that is really fastidious.

When you open the bolt, the extractor mechanism ejects the brass. It doesn't care that there's still a bullet sticking out the end. It just ejects whatever's next in line.

You fired three shots and opened the bolt each time, ejecting three empty casings. Then you opened it a fourth time and ejected a live round.

If you want to avoid wasting that fourth round, use manual bolting and reload before working the bolt to ready your next shot—when your character opens the bolt to reload, only empty brass will be ejected and no rounds will be wasted. Your character will only load three.

It's not a bug, it's superb attention to detail.

No need to apologize. It's not necessarily an intuitive thing, after all.

Now, that strikes me as odd. Unless there's something major I'm missing, the Mosin-Nagant should lose a round if you reload with a round in the chamber.

I hopped into a game to see, and you're quite right, it's not.

The ammo-check animation shows him only opening the bolt part-way, as with the Mauser, to avoid ejecting a round. However, opening the bolt fully to top off with a live round in the chamber doesn't eject it, just as you said.

The reload animations for with spent and with live cartridges are exactly the same, except that nothing ejects in the event that the round in the chamber is live.

The thing is, it absolutely should, just the same as the K98k, unless I'm missing something.

A video showing a 91/30 feeding:
