First off, I am in beta and I have a few questions, so in no particular order here we go:
1) What can one do as commander, I heard he is the only class that gets smoke grenades, and also can force respawns, how do you become the commander? 2) How do I know if I am squad leader, is it a separate class at class selection screen? 3) By now I know that the morale is the Exclamation point little bar on the bottom left corner of your screen, and when your game goes greyish it means it is low, BUT, what does this affect gameplay wise? (Accuracy, Firing Speed, Damage to enemies?) If I think of more I will post them, and don't flame or troll please, I am only trying to get better at this game. |

Commanders and Squad Leaders both have binoculars and smoke grenades. The thing that sets the Commander and his Squad Leaders apart is the Commander can use the radio to call in support.
Squad Leader is its own class, yes. It is not morale. It is suppression. Practically the "****ting my pants" meter. It messes with your vision and hearing to make you want to find cover. Bullets are bullets, no matter how you feel about them. So there's no penalty to damage or ballistics. However, you may have more weapon sway and it's pretty hard to see with all the blur.

1) To become a Commander you just choose to be one in the class selection screen. (It it's not already taken) A Commander can Force Respawn, Use aerial recon, call in mortar barrages and call in artillery & rocket strikes. (Depends on map which are available) Commanders and Squad Leaders are issued with smoke grenades.
2) Squad Leader is a separate class in class selection screen. 3) I don't know all the effects but it makes aiming a bit harder.(Not really that much though. In my opinion the effects could be more severe.) I hope this helped.

Rather than create a new thread for myself could someone expand on commander selection?
is it first come first served or is it somehow based on rank (and therefore experience) as commander? Nothing worse than a noob commander with a pro waiting in the wings. |

Quote:
1) Ask him/her nicely to give up his class. 2)Play well enough and you might get a battlefield commendation(I'm not sure if that's what it was called) and pick the class from him/her. 3)You can start a vote for commander change. 4)Votekick |

First come, first server. It's the same for all of the classes.
