Category: Code
Reproducibility: Always 1) Set a high resolution and a high FOV. (ex.: 1920 x 1080 and 90 FOV) 2) Get near a wall, the way you would normally go into cover, though not going into cover 3) Turn to the left or to the right and pay attention to the opposite direction of the screen 4) You should be able to see through the wall Summary: Ability to see through walls when using a high resolution combined with a high FOV Description: The bug only occurs with a high enough resolution and a high FOV. The amount of the wall becoming invisible is probably related to the resolution and the FOV. For example: on the resolution 1920 x 1080 you can start looking through walls with a FOV higher than 72. The higher the FOV is set, the bigger the area you can see through becomes. I myself use 1680 x 1050 and a FOV of 90 and I have a relatively small area where I can look through. I'll add screenshots of both resolutions though. One is 1680 x 1050 and a FOV of 90 and the second one is 1980 x 1050, so you have a clear comparison. Online/Offline: I assume this happens both online and offline. Here are the screens: 1680 x 1050 + 90 FOV: http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/59...B9CA62AAF7BA9/ (pay attention to the right) 1980 x 1050 + 90 FOV: http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/59...C140A76A20836/ (pay attention to the left) |

Confirmed. Nicely put. At least someone is sticking to the reporting format and giving solid data.
I also noticed your HUD artifacts...hitting "M" for map usually purges them.

If you go prone you can properly see right through the walls:

This also happens with Eyefinity (3 x 1920x1200 monitors on landscape configuration + bezel compensation = 6004x1200 resolution) and FOV set to 90.

I can also confirm that it happens on every map I've been playing, not only this one. Will try and post up some screenshots in a short while.

The second screen was taken by a friend of mine and at that point he thought it's normal. :P
