Hi there,

I'm interested in playing support spec, and I'm currently at level 3. But how do I deal with scrakes and FPs? So far I heard that I need a katana and what not, but what is a valid loadout for the Support Spec? I've been thinking about going normal shotgun + Hunting Shotgun because the AA12 is just a bit to expensive and not worth it IMO.

Please help me out here.

I am not sure why, but I really dislike the AA12. I generally only use it on patty. I'd rather have pump, HC, and hunting shotgun as support, and the few times I decided to use AA12, I actually did worse.

The pump shotgun does more damage per shell, has better range and accuracy, and you can fight one shell at a time if you need to(did this a lot).

And yeah, I'm playing on HoE.

Hunting and pump is soooooooo 3 months ago.... its all about pump+AA12+axe. xDDDD. I'm a spamming machine!!!! I like to call that set up the "Commando on Roids!"

But really though, its all taste. I've finally given the AA12 a chance and have grown to like it.......A LOT! Toy around with either set up and see what best fits your play style.

AA12 is okay on earlier waves, depending on the difficulty you play on too, it is too weak and has too much recoil though, it was for balancing I'd assume as a real AA12 has barely any recoil and is pretty damn powerful

I'm finding my way with it =P, (HoE too). I've found (for me anyways) to have decent balance you have to go either Hunting and pump, or AA12 and pump. Having AA12 and Hunting basically makes you a makeshift demo. Sitting in the back and spraying the big ones only, or waiting for large clumps to either spike em with the Hunting, or mow em down with the AA12.

The more I use the AA12, the more I'm finding it to be a useful tool. A lot of people will say otherwise, like I used to, but giving it a chance has turned me around on it.

I find the AA12 to be pretty good, depending on what sort of team iam playing with. If it's a team with 1 or more sharpshooters i tend to grab the AA12 + Hunting Shotgun with a axe or Katana as backup. If the sharpshooter pisses something off like a scrake and it get's to close i just unleash the Hunty and 80% of the time it dies and flies away. While for a team built more around damage output i'll use the Pump Action and Hunting Shotgun. Both good combo's in my opinion just depends on how you like to play and what your teams doing.

Hell on Earth as well.

does an aa12 really have so much little recoil in reality? it just seems too hard to believe. ><

hunting + aa12, u use aa12 on trash ZEDs and starting attacks on scrakes finishing them form hunting. nades + hunting on fps. This build needs some practice but when u play with it u can solo every bigger mob (on HoE on fp - Hunting alt fire from both barrels, fiew rounds from aa12 and switch back on hunting and again from 2 barrells)
