Default flamethowers

Are the going to be flamethrowers in this mod, flamethrowers were very widelly used and important in the Pacific island campaign

I suppose I am,,are you the guy that made that RO OST Makhno map,that was a really interesting map
Also will flamethrowers be longer range than in COD4 and real flamethrowers only had enouth fuel for about a 40 sec of continious burst is that the way it will be in this mod?

What annoys me with flamethrowers in most WW2 games is that they always have a ridiculously short range. Like around 4-5 meters. Didn't the M2-2 have a 24m range?

If you have any kind of wind at all the chances of hitting something 20m away is next to zero. There are also optimisation issues to consider. Let#s just say we are going to squeeze all we can out of flamethrowers.

Well, regardless of the fact that its a video game, torrents of fire coming at you will always be scary effective or not

One thing that no game has really reflected is that the thermal radiation from a flamethrower can be felt up to about 40 meters and beyond. They produce a tonne of heat... would be nice if it'd induce some heavy suppression, so even if you aren't hitting people, it'd demoralize them.

The smoke generated and blown in the direction of the target is also extremely noxious
