do you guys need high-res shots of the Carcano long rifle or carbine? my uncle has both, and I'm sure I could get ahold of a camera and take some pics for you

Yes please! The Carcano is quite a rare weapon so getting pictures of it is difficult! Extra carbine photos will always help too!

Have you read some of the exploits from the Brandenburgers?

Will Monte Cassino be covered pre- or post- bombing?

Hello people!

The Campagna Italiana development team has been working hard in recent weeks. As soon as the SDK is released we shoud be ready to start at full speed. Welcome to all the new members to the development team who I am sure will make the mod a big hit.

On top of this we have some exciting news!

In order to bring the Italian Front to your doorstep in the fastest time possible we are proud to announce that we have begun work on a mini mod!

Don’t worry Campagna Italiana will still be completing the full modification of over 25 new weapons, 14 new vehicles and 11 new maps! However we have chosen to focus our efforts in getting you the best experience of Red Orchestra in the shortest time possible.

The Mini Mod will include:
  • German, Italian and American Forces
  • 8 New Fully Realised Vehicles
  • 16 Fully Authentic Weapons
  • 3 Spectacular Maps
With any luck the first release should be ready for download in the Late Summer/ Early Autumn.

This looks very interesting.

I do have to ask one thing: why not join forces with the Burning Sands mod, at least in terms of the weapon systems?

You BOTH need American, British, and Italian forces, vehicles, and weapons. A tank can be modelled and coded, and then it can be passed to each team to be skinned for its appropriate theatre.

Hmmm, we must launch some sort of modding coalition for Red Orchestra...
In which alle participant-mods have the right the ask for help from everyother modding team and the duty to help others.
It's also possible to exchange material within that coalition.

I think this would increase modding speed and make it more fair between those mods!

How about?

To be honest and set the record straight we have no interest in resource sharing with Campagna Italiana. No bad feelings. Good luck with your mod.
