Default Break Blocks Gets a Face Lift

Hello good people, Break Blocks(and its website) have been updated. Check it out and give us some feedback: http://www.greatergoodgames.org

Game changes include wrapping everything up in an installer package, adding a glow effect to groups of 4 or more similarly colored blocks, updating the "beat marker" to make it more user friendly, improving the Dance Move tutorial, fixing the only known crash in the game, and implementing a number of suggested fixes/changes.

As always, you can show your support for our charitable cause and get access to the full version of Break Blocks now by pre-purchasing it on our website at 50% off. We are now accepting Paypal, as well as Google Checkout, due to a high demand coming from our European customers.

Extremely happy with the changes made to the game and to the website. Especially the changes made to the visuals of BB for the Early Adopters Program!

Yeah, the visuals start to look more polished, although the shrinking beat box still needs some work, the slight misalignment of it sticked in my eye.

Also I'm not sure what but something feels a bit weird and wrong in it now, probably related to the new colors, maybe they stick out too much/are too bright or something, make it maybe too easy to time the button presses.

We started them as fading from full red to full yellow to full green, but they are now using 90% of red, yellow, and green. I can toy with lowering them again to make them less bright. If, though, they just help you time the button presses easily, then that was truly the idea. We want the lowest possible entry difficulty, because we will be making it very difficult by the end of the game using other factors.

Thanks for playing and giving feedback, you guys!
