Game not starting at all (from steam)

So, the game just won't work for me. Not even an error message =(
I bought it from Steam, what happens is that when I tell him to run the program, it will give me a message of "Dwarves stoped working - windows is looking for a solution for this problem".

I have Windows 7, with a ATI Radeon graphics card.

Please help. I probably could ask steam for a refund, but I would be more interested in actually playing the game.
